Single column resume

Build a single column resume like the one above as it is readable by the applicant tracking system's of the hiring firms. 

Use Sans Serif font family

Use fonts that belong to sans serif with a size of 10 points for body text and 12 points bold for headers. 

Avoid using photo and icons

Hiring managers hate seeing a photo in the resume. Also, don't use icons for the work and education sections as they affect parsing for tracking systems.

Add output driven work experience

Instead of writing responsibilities, write results that you achieved in your work experience section. Like, write 'Reduced time by 12%' than 'Optimizing processes'.

Limit your bullet points

05.

Add at max five bullet points for recent and max two for previous work descriptions. Don't use bold words anywhere except for headings.
